I'm a Bristol based psychotherapeutic counsellor and training facilitator.
I believe passionately in the power of counselling and psychotherapy to help people overcome challenges and lead a more fulfilling life.
ABOUT ME
WHAT DO I DO?
I offer one-to-one psychotherapeutic counselling in person (currently based in Clifton), online, or by telephone. I provide both short-term counselling about specific issues and more open-ended psychotherapy addressing broader concerns. The world of talking therapy can be confusing, so I have put together an FAQs page answering the questions I most often receive from prospective clients. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I am a Level 7 BACP-registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My training was integrative (drawing on Person-Centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic approaches) and I've undertaken additional CPD to be able to work in a trauma-informed way.

As a training facilitator, I have developed and delivered a number of best practice training on topics such as gender and sexuality, neurodiversity, and self-harm and suicidality. I have worked with a range of professionals including counsellors, mental health nurses, social workers, crisis support volunteers, and prison officers.
VALUES
I believe passionately that counselling has the potential to benefit everyone and shouldn't be the preserve of only a small part of society. I welcome and work with people at all life stages and of all sexual orientations, neurotypes, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds. It may be the case that you want to know more about who I am before working together and you're welcome to ask. I am a BACP member and abide by their code of ethics for practice.
